The Bible teaches that “children are a heritage from the Lord” (Ps. 127:3). We believe it is important to train children when they are young. The children and teen ministries at Bethel are designed to come along side and assist parents as they train and teach their children in the ways of God.
Our ministry for children begins when they are infants. The nursery is provided for infants from birth to age 2 during all regularly scheduled services at Bethel. The children are divided into two areas of our nursery which allows us to better meet their needs. Our nursery is staffed during Sunday morning worship, Sunday School, Sunday evening family worship and Wednesday evening Bible study.
Our preschool ministry meets the needs of children ages 2-5 years. The preschool classes include a 2 year old class, 3 and 4 year old class and a kindergarten class. This ministry meets immediately after the children’s message portion of the Sunday morning worship service. Afterwards, children are taken to their age appropriate Sunday School class.
During the morning service, children are dismissed to attend their very own church service. Preschoolers age 2 through pre-k attend the preschool church which meets on the basement level of the facility and kindergarten through 3rd grade meet on the first level of the facility. After children’s church, the children are taken to their age appropriate Sunday School class.
The Missions and Ministry children’s program began in 2013 as a ministry to teach kids about the importance of missions and to help them be actively involved in the ministry here at Bethel. This program meets Sunday evening during the evening worship service.
