Descriptions
Sunday Morning Worship lasts from 9:30a.m. to 10:45a.m. It consists of worshipping the Lord through congregational and special music, prayer, and of course allowing God to speak to us through the preaching of God's Word..
Sunday School lasts from 10:45a.m. to 11:45a.m. We offer Sunday School classes for all ages of children as well as 6 adults classes. Each adult class has its own personality and style of teaching, but they all have one thing in common; "Scripture and Prayer to Conform us to the Image of Christ."
Children's Choir
Sunday Night Family Worship lasts from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45p.m. Sunday night worship is a time for families to grow together in their Christian faith. Like Sunday morning worship, we worship through music, prayer, and preaching, but the atmosphere is family oriented and we often share testimonies of what the Lord is doing in our lives.
Ladies Bible Study is currently on the subject of "You Matter More than You Think", a study based on the teaching of Christian phsycolgist and author, Leslie Parrott. This 6 week study has a great balance of personal testimony and scriptural truth.
Fishing for Men is our evangelism outreach on Tuesday night starting at 6:30p.m. Our primary focus is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we visit with people who have visited our church to see if they have any questions about the Bible's teaching on eternal life or any questions about our church. We also go out to take religious surveys of local neighborhoods, share the gospel with individuals in the many beautiful parks in our city, as well as other community service projects.
Men's prayer time is an opportunity for all the men of our church to gather with the elders in a time of prayer as we seek God's guidance and wisdom for the direction of the church, plead for His power and blessing on our ministry, and lift up personal requests on behalf of the people of our church.
FUEL is the Youth Ministry of Bethel Baptist for students in the 7th - 12th grades. FUEL is an acronym that stands for Faith Used in Everyday Life. Our youth meetings consist of worship, discipleship, and fellowship. Each week we spend the bulk of our time studying God's Word so we can apply in to our lives in a very practical way. Each week our students close our time by meeting in their discipleship groups led by our volunteer youth leaders. Our goal is to reach a culture that is constantly changing with the truth of the God's Word that never changes.
AWANA is a children's ministry that has stood the test of time. It focuses in on the memorization and study of God's Word so that these children have a solid Biblical foundation for the rest of their lives. There is something for all age groups from 3 years old through the 6th grade.
Adult Bible Study is the adult's opportunity for in-depth Bible study led by Pastor Randy. These studies are either expositional studies of books of the Bible or a study of the major Bible doctrines.
