Our Mission

Bethel Baptist Church is a fellowship of believers that exists to bring the highest glory to God. We desire to make a difference in the world beginning first with the greater Parkersburg area.

Our Mission involves two areas:
1. Strengthening of fellowship together as believers.
We desire to be sensitive to the physical and spiritual needs of other believers. We seek to foster an atmosphere that would allow greater development of interpersonal relationships. We present a worship service that is both helpful and inspirational for our members through proclamation of God’s Word and we desire to offer programs for all ages that would enhance personal knowledge of Scripture and application to daily living.
2. Serving our community and world missions.
We want to maintain a Christian conduct before others in order to have an opportunity to share our faith and hope in the gospel. We desire to be supportive of the needs of our community so that we can demonstrate Christian compassion and we want to both prayerfully and financially commit ourselves to world missions for the purpose of world-wide evangelism.
